A PEEK INSIDE
Sunday, April 27 · Issue No. 12
Hello friend,
Come and sit with me. It's a good day to be happy
Five years ago, an elder told me that my birthday is my first imprint on the earth. It is a pivotal moment for humanity, and for that reason, we must honor it as such. Our entrance points to who we are, who we will become, and how we choose to do it.
Ever since then, how I approach aging has changed. I saw it as a rite of passage rather than an unavoidable journey to the grave.
I learn to accept the days for what they are- a compilation of the moments that make up my life. No one day is greater than the other.
There are days when I am more generous- more aware.
So, recently, when my toddler made a simple request: Come and sit with me.
I did.
And when I asked her, What are we going to do? Excitedly, she responded, " Eat ice cream!"
And why? She answered, "Because it is a happy day, Mom!"
And we sit outside, the breeze blowing, eating ice cream because it's a good day to be happy.
⏐"Culture is not what you remember. It is what you keep doing."
With gratitude,
— The Stitched & Seasoned Table
MOST RECENT LETTERS⎯
Hi, I'm Nathalie
A vibrant entrepreneur, a devoted mother, a loving wife, and the kind of friend who makes you feel at home before you've even taken off your coat.
I believe women deserve room to grow, rest, become, and thrive in every season. And I believe the richest parts of life are found in the simplest places. Around the kitchen table. In a familiar recipe. In the people we choose to love well.
Thriving was never about having it all together.
Pull up a chair. There's always room for you here.

The table is not a metaphor
Once a season I set it for women in Dallas|Fort Worth. Two hours on a Saturday afternoon. No name tags. No going around the room saying what you do.
Save your seat. The next one is Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Can't make it, join us Spring 2027. Details coming soon.
Not in Texas? The letter is how we do this everywhere else.
